Entrepreneurship and Business Association  LiNK Mostar with partners Local Democracy Agency (LDA) Mostar and Centre for Development of Herzegovina (CRH) started with the implementation of the project Popowo (People Organize Prevention of Overflow Water).
Total amount of project is 114.200 EUR and is financed by the European Union 90% or 102.350 EUR and cofinanced by the Norwegian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina in amount of  11 850 EUR.

Overall objective:
Strengthening the role of civil society in initiating dialogue in the area of Popovo Field to consolidate political participation and representation of farmers, women and men alike.

Specific objectives:
1. To facilitate communication among the key stakeholders in the area of Popovo as it concerns the flooding of agricultural land;
2. To create a informal Network of wide range of stakeholders to build towards consensus on disputed area in Popovo Field; and
3. To enhance political representation and participation of farmers, agricultural associations, cooperatives and SMEs in Popovo Field.

Target group(s) : Ministry of foreign trade and economic relations BiH; Ministries of agriculture, water management and forestry of FBiH and RS; the Agency for Watershed of Adriatic Sea, its Mostar office; RS Water Directorate in Bijeljina and its Trebinje regional office; Ministry of agriculture, water management and forestry of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton; the municipalities of Trebinje, Ljubinje, Ravno and Capljina; Elektroprivreda RS; Elektroprivreda FBIH; ZP HE Trebišnjica, Trebinje; Water laboratory Gorica, HE Trebinje II; PHE Čapljina; NGOs: hunters' associations in Ljubinje and Trebinje; Vjetrenica, Popovo polje; farmers' association Hercegovka Ljubinje; the cooperatives Popovka Trebinje, Stela Ljubinje and individual farmers .
