Project title: “Raising employment and self-employment capacities of women by strengthening their social-economic role through informal education”; Funded by: FIGAP Programme; Beneficiaries: Target groups (direct): Unemployed women registered with the employment services office regardless of the education level, Non-active, discouraged women between 15 and 49 years of age, Housewives between 25 and 49 years of age and older, Non-active workers between 50 and 54 years of age.
Target groups (indirect): Employment services offices/agencies, civil society organisations, Ministry of Education of Hercegovina-Neretva Canton, Education/pedagogical bureau in Mostar, Education Institute, Agency for pre-school, primary and secondary education of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gender Centre in Bosnia and Herzegovina, FIGAP Project activities: Activity 1: Establishment of an informal network of NGOs and other civil society organisations and public institutions dealing with implementation of the GAP (Gender Action Plan), focusing on the end beneficiaries (local authorities) Activity 2: Organisation of two trainings/workshops “Start up your own business” designed for all women with a business idea or an ambition to start up their own business. Activity 3: Promotional activities. Visibility of the FIGAP Programme and the IGMM will be ensured at all public events including press conferences, web, banners, publications, promotional material, photographs and similar. Activity 4: Organisation of a round table with a topic: “Raising employment and self-employment capacities of women by strengthening their social-economic role through informal education”
