Project “Campaign against corruption” has a total value of 120.000 EUR and will last for 20 months. Leading partner of the Project is Independent Development Bureau (NBR) in Gradačac and partners are Entrepreneurship and Business Association LiNK Mostar and “Plod” Centre Bihać.

Project is funded by:
-    EC Delegation – 105.000 EUR, 87,5% of the total amount
-    NBR Gradačac – 9.000 EUR
-    Entrepreneurship and Business Association LiNK Mostar – 3.000 EUR
-    “Plod” Centre Bihać – 3.000 EUR

Overall objective of the Project is to enhance expedite reforms of the key government institutions (their programmes, projects and procedures) and to improve their efforts with an active involvement of the NGO sector. More efficient reform will lead to less corruption.

Specific objectives of the Project are:
-    Improvement of capacities of the NGOs that are involved in development of SMEs (including business environment) and their integration under a common operating platform.
-    Improvement of the existing policies, procedures and programmes within the SME and entrepreneurship sector with a goal to reduce corruption. At least 12 different policies, measures and programs will be improved by reducing corruption possibilities.

Target groups are:
-    Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations)
-    Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (two ministries)
-    Employment Services in the Republic of Srpska, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Una-Sana Canton
-    Three cantonal administrations (relevant ministries)
-    Six entity and cantonal governments
-    20 NGOs dealing with development of SMEs and entrepreneurship
-    5 municipalities
-    Development Bank of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Razvojna banka FBiH)

Main Project activities:
Project will be implemented through three main groups of activities:
1.    Analyses and monitoring of policies, their implementation and institutional operations
2.    Development of NGOs capacities
3.    Advocacy

Expected results of the Project:
-    Created and adopted common platform of NGOs concerning the campaign against corruption within the sector of SMEs and entrepreneurship
-    Analysed at least 15 current policies, programmes and procedures (in relation with the development of SMEs and entrepreneurship, including planning and construction/building permits), concrete improvement measures proposed and created monitoring procedures,
-    Organised advocacy campaigns
-   Developed network for monitoring of changes and continuous reporting to public/relevant target groups
