Support of the SME sector in the region of Herzegovina through establishment of more favourable business environment. Duration of the Project is 24 months, starting in October 2007. Leading partner in the Project is Entrepreneurship and Business Association LiNK Mostar in partnership with municipalities of Trebinje and Jablanica.

Project is financed by:
•    EC Delegation – 298.520 EUR, which is 88,6% of the total value of the Project
•    Municipality of Trebinje – 15.000 EUR
•    Municipality of Jablanica – 3.600 EUR
•    Italian NGO COSPE – 20.000 EUR

Project is based on:
Project is based on the results of two feasibility studies which directly analysed requirements, obstacles and shortcomings of the target groups involved in the economic development in the region, and which offered adequate solutions.

Expected results of the Project:
•    Reconstructed and refurbished office space for two business incubators in Jablanica and Trebinje offering office space for new businesses
•    Creation of a functional network of the established Business incubators with the Incubator in Mostar
•    Establishment of the REC Herzegovina which will play a consulting role supporting SMEs in whole Herzegovina
•    Main tasks of the REC Herzegovina are: consulting services relevant to starting up new businesses, trainings/workshops, assistance in solving concrete, business related problems
•    Establishment of a Regional Guarantee Fund which will facilitate an easier access to funds designated for SMEs in the territory of Herzegovina, under much more favourable conditions
