In Municipality offices of Ljubinje, Mayor Vesko Budinčić, met representatives of Norwegian Fondation BIP Mr. Bjorna Reite and Mrs. Silba Ajdarov, representatives of LiNK association from Mostar: Ms. Mirela Jurić, Consultant for SME's and Ms. Belma Hadžimahmutović, Senoir officer for International Projects and Mr. Slobodan Vulešević, CRH from Trebinje.

BIP and its partners CRH and LiNK presented their work in the area of Herzegovina and implemented cooperation projects: business start-up trainings,student entreprenurship, business growth programs, export oriented projects etc. This was an occasion to hand over the certificates to participants of Agrobusiness training from Trebinje and Ljubinje area.

BIP rep. Mr. Bjorn Reite delivered certificates to all participants of the combined training. Farmers who attended this training are in phase of establishment a new agricultural association for rural development and protection of environment.

BIP representatives announced the possibility for cooperation with newly formed association regarding export oriented projects, especially agricultural products, but they also emphasised that there need to be strong will, initiative and support from the local community and local government.BIP rep. said that local agricultural producers must cooperate among themselves, increase the quality of products, and production processes, therefore new investment in technologies are expected.

Municipal Mayor, Mr. Vesko Budinčić emphaasized that Municipality is willing to include itself in these projects, gave his support to the project, offering their knoweledge, human resources, expirience and land.

Norwegian organization BIP and its partners LiNK and CRH, have announced new site visit in September, wehen detailed planning and concrete actions will take place regarding export issue of fruit and vegetables from this Herzegovinian territory to the Norwegian market in 2010.
